Here are some pictures of me from the hospital and at home after being released.
I had a Dr.'s appointment today and everything looks pretty good. My biggest concern has been the 15 lbs of water weight that I gained from the IV fluids (verrry uncomfortable), but they are starting to come off. I've lost 10 lbs in two days and have been peeing up a storm!!! Here's to hydration!

First picture after surgery. Pictures weren't allowed in the ICU, so this was after I was moved to the Cardiac Ward. Still on morphine!
This was either day 2 or day 3 with my mom and dad. 
After returning home and trying to find a comfortable spot. Fail.
Aw, heart pillow.

PS It's so funny to me how Robbie and Kelly definitely look like they're part Asian, and then you and Alex look so European.
Tania, water weight can be super serious!!! Well, maybe not. :P But you're right. It's small if it's my biggest problem.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's strange about Robbie and Kelly vs. Me and Alex. We'll have to have an Asian-off at some point. I'm sure Alex and I have some hidden Samuri in us! WE look more like cousins than Kelly and I.
I know, right? It's funny how genetics work. I know I have the ginger gene because my dad's dad was a ginger, but I got the blonde from mom (even though her side has ginger, too).
